'Tis the Season

Colt is still singing Christmas carols- his favorite is "dashing through the snow" and a new version of Jingle Bells; same melody but replaced with the words "Oh, we love snow - we love snow..." at the top of his lungs. But, I just realized what he was singing for Deck the Halls. He sings "Tis the season to be gentle..." and it made me think how it really is, or was, the season where we are a little more gentle. It could be because we are thinking about others more as we search for the right gifts, or that we are reminded more about giving and charity...either way, I like Colt's version.
