Last Friday was a huge lego event at our mall... our school still isn't out, but Skyler didn't mind skipping a few hours!
We waited in line for the big building event, kids got to build parts to an 8 foot tall YodaSkyler had time to build 2 sections, then turned them into the "Master Builder" - we need to go back and see the finished Yoda!
Heidi kept busy too - she turned to me right after I took this picture and said "I building big yoda!"
Sykler with the "Master Builder" and the small version of what they were building
We ended our morning out with McDonald's then back to school.
Thursday night was our new ward's first pack meeting. Colt earned 3 belt loops and a silver arrow. After getting his awards is was pretty quiet and Colt looked at everyone and said "What? No applause?" Everyone laughed and clapped. I think with the mixing of the 2 wards people were unsure of how the awards part would be run, and Colt's was the 1st awards given out.
The Olympic Games were perfect for the kdis - sling shots were the Wolf Den's first stop:
Also last week Heidi and I super cleaned out house. By the time lunch rolled around the rain had stopped - not wanting to mess my clean kitchen up, we met friends at Subway and the park.
Heidi loves the new zip line they installed - she calls it a "whip line" and likes going super fast!
Now it's finally the last week of school, though it's overcast, rainy, and about 55 degrees. Sad. Come on summer!
