Sometimes, while the boys are at school...

Sometimes us girls go out.  Last week had been so busy that when Friday came and my calendar was completely clear I asked Heidi what we should do.  "The baby store!"  so she got her prized baby doll ready for an outing to the American Girl store.  She loves her Bitty Baby more than anything, and the dress she chose was the Belle dress I made her, which was good since it would keep us from getting her doll mixed up with the ones there to play with.

 She took her for a walk all around the store...

 Fed her lunch

 and even found a place for dolls to safely hang out in her ladies room stall.

 We picked out something special to bring home -

The Bitty Baby snack set, which she used to keep baby happy at Panera Bread while we waited for our sandwich to share.  It was a fun morning, followed by grocery shopping and laundry it was the highlight of our day!  Well, that and having beautiful weather by the time school let out, so we were able to walk to pick the boys up from school.  Of course baby came too.
