I got to help at the big 2nd grade toy making workshop at Colt's school last week - they have been studying motion, counter-weights, force, ect. More than I learned in 2nd grade!
They made 2 toys, one was a man who could do all sorts of tricks; stand on his head, his arm, lean almost all the way backwards, ect. The other was a propeller toy that zoomed all around the floor. Very cool.
Here's Colt showing off one of the tricks he figured out, it's all about where that counter-weight is. I think. Ask him and he'll tell you all about it! Pretty fun for Science!
