About 3-4 weeks ago Colt announced it was almost Pikachu's birthday. His favortie toy. He looked at the calendar and set a date - March 12th. Then he got to work planning and designating assignments to the family. Mom: Food, Dad; balloons, Skyler: decorations, Colt: games, Heidi: invatations, Colt: Party. He taped the list on the inside of our pantry door and checked it/reminded us our tasks for the next weeks.
Finally party day! Colt brought all his other pokemon, as did Skyler.
Colt used his toothfairy money and left over allowance money to buy Pikachu a present, Snivy from Pokemon Black and White. I know way more about Pokemon then I ever wanted to.
Pikachu was thrilled - as you can see. Next was the candle and singing - Pikachu was loving all the attention.
We didn't have balloons, decorations, or invitations, and the game was Colt vs. Skyler playing Pokemon on the Wii. All in all the least expensive/least streeful birthday party this house has ever seen!
