December 29th we woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland of snow - the kids were very excited to head out to play. Before it was even 9am!

The boys were especially excited to find that this was "snow ball snow." It packed great! As opposed to the dry snow we got at Thanksgiving that couldn't make snowballs at all.

Tom was a great sport and took them all outside - then proceeded to attack them with snowballs.

Skyler ended up getting a bit carried away and got Heidi pretty good. Poor girl.

Then the 30th we took them to the Children's Museum. It'd been awhile since we'd been to this one and they had changed some of the exhibits-a nice surprise.

Thankfully, Colt's favorite activity was still there - you put a small ball up a lit tube and it travels through a network of lit tubes along the ceiling and then falls down a maze.

Heidi's favorite was the water room, and Skyler spent most of his time in the airplane. It has an authemtic cockpit-but it's hard to get pictures up there!

We went downstairs to find the building room had changed - Colt wanted a tower built all around him, and with Skyler's help Dad was able to scavage enough blocks to comply.

Breaking out of the tower was highly anticipated and made quite the display of flying blocks.

Ending 2010 in time out- thankfully she hasn't been back yet for 2011. Happy New Year!
