Thanksgiving didn't turn out like we'd hoped this year. The plan was for all 7 of us siblings and our families to have Thanksgiving at my parents home. Then a blizzard hit Idaho and Utah closing roads through Idaho and Montana so my 2 sisters and 1 brother couldn't come. Then my parents lost power for several days.... so instead we had Thanksgiving at our home with my parents and 2 brothers. Tom cooked a wonderful dinner and the company was fantastic BUT we were missing 17 people. And we were all sad. The Saterday after Thanksgiving we got together with Tom's side of the family and Skyler and I finally got around to making our turkey cookies. They were a lot of work but very cute!

At school Skyler made this candy dish out of clay - a mighty fine job if I do say so!
