This past week Tom and I took the kids to Jetty Island - it was the perfect day for it...about 80 degrees and a light breeze. Heidi is usually crazy girl around water but this particular day she preferred the snacks and sand.
The kids buried each other in the sand....
Swam, walked down the beach, built sand castles, and enjoyed watching the kite surfers. There may be another name for that activity but I can't remember what it is.... but it was fun to watch! There were about 6 or 7 of them out there.

Fun! I want to go there, of course next week it's in the 70s again, but I guess that might be better...no sunburn.
