Company Picnic

Nintendo's company picnic is always a highlight of our summer. This year we were at Mountain Meadows again but with a Knight theme-which the boys loved.
There's something for everyone and the weather couldn't have been better.
The show this year was a jousting tournament.
We were sitting on the red side by accident, the boys had wanted to root for the green team - and they did anyway. The crowd would cheer "Red, Red, Red!" Then you'd hear two little voices yell out "go green!"
The red team ended up winning. Everyone was getting pictures with them, petting their horses, talking with them. Colt looked up at me and said "I need to go cheer up the green team. No one is over there but they still did a good job." He is so kind and thoughtful and empathetic. He went over and talked with the green team, telling them how good they did. It was a proud parenting moment for me.
The boys participated in the races. Skyler won 1st place in the 4-6 year old sack race! He was way out in front in the 50 meter foot race when one of shoes fell off. He kept running but had lost his lead and lost by just a couple seconds.
There's a big fenced in area for the little ones, like the bestbackyard a kid could have. Heidi had fun and it was nice letting her out of the stroller without worrying to much.
Paddle boats...
Water balloon launchers
Rock climbingMini golf - and then we ready ready to head home.
The food was great, I think Colt had 3 ice cream bars and Tom loved the BBQ ribs. Thank you Nintendo!
