Bird Nests for Easter

These no-bake cookies are an absolute favorite in our home. Here's the recipe, and some pointers for the cute Easter nests;

Before you start, lay out wax or parchment paper and have the add-in ingredients measured out and ready to add (oats, peanut butter, etc.)

2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup cocoa (Hershey's works the best for some reason)
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
These ingredients go into a saucepan on the stove, mix together and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute....no less or the cookies don't turn out.

Remove pot from burner and quickly stir in the add-ins:
2 cups Oatmeal (quick 1 minute, NOT instant or old fashioned)
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup peanut butter (I use crunchy but just because that's what we always have on hand)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Drop onto parchment paper and let cool/harden.

For nest; after cookies are dropped go back with your tablespoon measurer or other rounded thing and press an indent in the middle. Add jelly beans or the speckled egg whopper candies. Enjoy!
