Skyler had a lot of fun at his first game. He came so close to making a few goals and almost cried after one didn't go in. The biggest thing for the coaches out there (they can be on the field with the 3/4 year old teams) was keeping their players going the right direction. Really cute.
During the first "huddle" the coach was trying to give some instructions but Skyler was instead pretty intrigued that you could see the moon! Even though it's daytime! (you can see him pointing to it.)
His coach is so great with this age. If you can't beat them, join them. Skyler got everyone to look.
The best part was the treats after the game. In the parent info it says "healthy snack and drink." Who wants a healthy snack and drink after running the field for an hour? Well, the other team got water bottles and bananas. No joke.
