Long morning

This morning, at 8:30am - on a Saturday, our whole family had to be at the church in church clothes for the primary presentation practice. Tom is the Sunbeam (3-4 yr. old) teacher and I'm the 9-10 year old teacher. Needless to say we both came home with headaches. Besides that, Colt wouldn't say his part into the microphone. Skyler, who's still in nursery and doesn't have a part this year but was sitting with Tom and his class burst into sobs when he didn't get to say a part. And he cried for a long time. Would anyone notice if Skyler said Colt's part tomorrow? Kidding. We got home and really just wanted the kids to watch a movie and give us a break. Why oh why could they not sit and watch a movie? It's not like they were sitting still during the practice...and usually they love movies. What a long start to our Saturday.
