Skyler - he's an exciting soccer player to watch! His specialty is stealing the ball from the opposing team and giving great assists to his teamates (passes to them from the side so they can kick a goal in.) He's fast and has gotten good at turning the ball around once he steals it. Exciting to watch him plow down the field with kids chasing after him!
Last spring he brought home a sunflower plant from Kindergarten to transplant that he'd started from a seed. Turns out there were two in there! We planted them with lots of wild flowers in our back yard, and here they are 4 months later!
We love our Skyler! He's a wonderful son and terrific brother. 2 weeks ago he became 6 1/2, though for some reason I keep saying he's 7! Maybe because he's so tall and such a good reader.
