These are all out of order but you'll get the idea. We love going to Snowflake Lane every year before Christmas. It's free, pretty short, and really entertaining. If you've never been it's every night at I think 7pm outside the Cheesecake Factory at Belsquare Mall in Bellevue. Google it to double check the time.

Yes, Tom's head got sticky-that's a peppermint tootsie pop she's got
Then Colt's favorite part....the SNOW! Huge machines blow soapy foam from the top of the buildings-the kids think it's real (until they catch some on their tongues)
This year Rudolph was there!
We've learned a few things: 1. don't go the week of Christmas (packed) 2. don't go on a Friday or Saturday night (very packed) 3. stand down by the fountain outside Macy's doors - the sidewalk by the street gets really crowded but down below there's lots more room, plus more drummers, a stilt walker, frosty usually shows up, and rudolph. The kids have room to dance to the music and it's easier to keep an eye on them. 4. Get to the mall 30-45min. before it starts; parking can be hard to find. A tradition we love!
