Apparently this is how almost 7 year old boys pose now days for pictures.... almost every picture I've taken of Colt lately looks very much like this one. I have to say though, I love this age. He's one very funny kid, and clever, and kind.We just finished reading "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" as a family this morning before church, it was a great familybook-then this afternoon we watched the old version together. It's been really fun. Any suggestions for another book? I don't want a series.... but we'd love another book that's been made into a movie.

Hi Amy! What about a Beverly Cleary book? Maybe the boys would think it alright to hear about Ramona. I know they made a movie, or at least a TV movie out of that one. Rahld Dahl has a lot of great books that are movies - James and the Giant Peach, and Mathilda. :)
