Colt and Skyler were hoping to get big chocolate Easter bunnies in their baskets this year. The Easter bunny picked some big hollow ones- Colt gobbled his up for breakfast, Skyler played with his until it started to melt in his hands....then let Colt eat it the following day. Our Easter bunny came Saturday morning, then we headed to Country Village to collect Easter eggs from each shop, they had candy, or small toys, or coupons for around the village. We ended up winning a potted daffodil, 2 pansies, a bag of raspberry drops, and a Gund stuffed bunny. It was much better for us then a crowded egg hunt with tons of candy; the boys walked a lot and I got to see in all the stores. We went very light on the candy this year (remember: big chocolate Easter bunnies...) so Skyler found Mac, the truck from Cars, in his basket and Colt found Douglas, the twin train to Donald, a train he already has. They were both very happy and were kept very busy playing. It was a fun Easter, until Skyler got a flu bug early Sunday morning.....

I thought that Country Village was definitely the way to go. Let's do it again next year!
We're on for next year, and going during all the other egg hunts was a good idea, not crowded at all.
