Trimming the Tree

Tradition: each child gets a new ornament each year (not to original but still...) which we give the night the tree goes up. This way we can enjoy the new ornaments all year. Skyler's this year was, of course, Spiderman. Colt's was, of course, Diego.

The morning following the tree going up Skyler came down and greeted his favorite ornaments with "good morning" and touching each to make sure they were still real; Blues Clues, Spider Man, and Elmo.
